The area is to be a tank farm facilitating the storage and transport of commonly used fuels, such as gasoline, ethanol, diesel, aviation fuel, etc. A liquid natural gas facility has apparently been removed from the plan. The planned site is expected to be on the east side of the city in a parcel of land bordered by the Welland Canal, Highway 140, and Welland.
